- French or Spanish to English translation – Highly competent and sensitive translation from French and Spanish into English across all academic, literary, popular non-fiction and journalism genres.
- Stylistic editing – Advice and suggestions on structure, tone and vocabulary, rephrasing for easier reading and greater grammatical correctness, removal of repetition and personal writing ‘tics’, as well as a thorough proofreading of the final text.
- Linguistic editing and translation checking – If you have translated your text into English yourself, or have organised a translation and are unsure of the quality of the finished product, we provide translation checking and linguistic editing to ensure that your final text reads naturally, is grammatically consistent and accurately reflects your desired content and tone. We have particularly strong experience in correcting translations from German, Italian, Czech, Russian, Estonian, Spanish, and French.
- Conversion of text conventions – For example, perhaps you need your text converted from the original UK conventions into US conventions or vice-versa. This service is particularly popular for last-minute submissions, covering letters, and proposals.
- Proofreading – All of the above services include final proofreading, but this service is also available independently. Straightforward checking and correction of spelling, grammar and punctuation according to the required convention (UK, US or Australian Standard), without stylistic suggestions.
